Before
you can seriously begin on your project, you have to meet with your
client (or friendly critic) to discuss the project. Remember that you
are working to please the client. You must discuss your client's initial
perception of the project and then begin designing what you "thought"
the client wanted. I say this using a tentative tense because creating
a product for another person is an on-going formative process that doesn't
end until you deliver the project. You will consult with the client
along the way, but it WILL be a continuous process until the end.
