Podcasts are a fun way to create/enjoy the audio/video segments at your leisure. We have seen how 8 year-olds create them. Now it is your opportunity to create a podcast that is at least 5 minutes long. Here are some steps for creating your podcast:

1. Select a topic. This is something that is important to you. You can work with another partner if you want.
2. Identify your audience. Be as specific as possible because it will make your task easier.
3. Plan your project. Here is an example outline that you might use. It doesn't have to be just llike this.
   a) Intro Music,
   b) Preview,
   c) Bumper Music,
   d) Main Story,
   e) Bumper Music,
   f) Related Story,
   g) Bumper Music,
   h) Summation and Preview for Next Time, and
   i) Outro Music.
4. Write/plan your segments so that you can record them. They might involve you telling the story or you interviewing someone or maybe someone else talking about a topic.
5. Record your segments.
6. Find the royalty-free music that you will use in your podcast.
7. Mix your segments with your music.
8. Save/Share your podcast in MP3 format.
9. Upload your podcast to Podbean.com
10. Write the accompanying show notes on your Podbean.com posting. Include any links or specific information that will be important for your audience.
