Before your create your own electronic portfolio, it is important for you to review other electronic portfolios so you can build a background of knowledge about what is possible and what is effective.

Your task is to examine all of the electronic portfolios at  Sample Portfolios.  

Write a written review for 4 of the portfolios. Answer these questions for each of these portfolios. Answer completely.

 

  1. What is your initial impression of the porftolio when you first open it? What caused this impression?
  2. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the portfolio;
  3. What are you able to understand about the personality of this person;
  4. Would you would hire this person as a teacher and what are the reasons behind your decision.
Think about what you like and dislike in a portfolio.  We will discuss this in class as you plan what and how you will create your portfolio.
