GEA

Gender Equality Association (GEA) is a dynamic informal undergraduate student organization of women and men working to promote equality and awareness of gender issues. The group empowers student to become active participants in creating community by providing leadership opportunities for all. GEA has representatives on the Women's & Gender Studies Advisory Board of Directors, and has input in planning Women's History Month, UNI Diversity Week, Women's Shelter Benefit Concert, Take Back the Night Rally, and much more. The group regularly travels to national conferences.
