The Wellness Resource Lab is a haven of comfort and creativity to many who come to relax or dive into academic work.  It is a shared space of Wellness/Recreation Services and the HPELS (Health, Physical Education and Leisure Services) academic department.

The “Lab” contains self-care and blood pressure stations, a computerized health risk appraisal system, computers for general use, relaxation room and resource library.  It has come to be known as the “hub” of wellness services.

Location
The Wellness Resource Lab is located on the 1st floor of the Wellness Recreation Center in Room 104.  It is situated near the elevator adjacent to the free weight room.

Massage Therapy & Relaxation Room

The relaxation room is a quiet, serene space found within the Wellness Resource Lab. The room is filled with soft lamp light, a relaxation fountain, lighted tree, comfortable reclining chairs, and a CD player for restful music.

This space houses massage therapy, provided by licensed massage therapists. When the room is not in use for massage, students, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy the room for relaxation, a study break, or a small meeting space. Resource Library

The Wellness Resource Lab includes a resource library with many books, videos, cassettes, pamphlets and newsletters on a variety of health and wellness topics.  There is also a special section of.  Our resources are great for personal use or for writing papers and presentations.  Material check-outs are free and are good for two weeks.  Stop in and peruse today!
