Fall 2009 Programs for Academic Points or Extra Credit

Class Presentations
Professional staff, including health educators, a substance abuse and sexual abuse specialist, and fitness/recreation specialists are available to give presentations to academic classes on a wide range of health and wellness related topics. Click Here for more information.
Programming in the Resource Lab
Faculty are invited to visit the Wellness Resource Lab to see the resources available for use in the lab and in your classes. Special programming can also be arranged for small groups within the lab.
Student Research
The Wellness Resource Lab has information to help students with academic work related to health and wellness issues. Direction can be given for accessing commonly used journals, internet websites and agencies.
Internship, Practicum, and Volunteer Experiences for Students
Opportunities for student career experiences are continually expanding, not only in areas of health and recreation, but also marketing, public relations, student affairs and computer sciences.
