For alumni who are Alumni Association Members
Wellness and Recreation Services (WRS) invites you to join students, faculty, and staff in use of facilities, programs, and services offered by WRS. UNI Alumni are eligible to pay the WRS user fee for access to the WRC and Health Beat in the Union.
I. Amenities provided for paid users include everything listed below:
- Climbing Wall
- Family access for spouse and tax dependents during WRC Family Hours (when accompanied by the paid user)
- Fitness Area including free weights (includes Health Beat in Maucker Union)
- Gymnasiums
- Lap and Leisure Pools and spa
- Racquetball Courts
- Sauna
Classes and programs (for an additional fee)
- American Red Cross Certification Classes
- Fitness/Leisure Classes
- Fitness Incentive Programs
- Massage Therapy
- Outdoor Clinics
- Paddling Panthers Swim Lesson Program
Additional services that may be purchased or requested include:
- Towel Service
- Facility Rentals, such as the popular leisure pool and climbing wall
- Locker Service
II. The following amenities would be available, for a fee, to UNI Alumni who have not paid the WRS user fee:
Additional Important Information regarding UNI Alumni Services
- A UNI ID card is required for facility and program access. Cards may be purchased at Redeker Center, unless you already have a UNI ID from your student years.
- If parking on campus and you are not parking in a WRC metered lot, a parking sticker would need to be purchased through the Public Safety Office. All parking stickers are valid in any parking lot after 4:00 pm, with no restrictions. Be advised that having a parking sticker that doesn’t guarantee a parking spot. Contingent on WRC, UNI-Dome, and McLeod Center events, parking may be limited at times.
For Other Alumni Association members (non-alumni) have the following options:
- Purchase a day pass for $5 or a 5 punch card for $20 (Alumni Association membership card must be presented). Purchase can be made at the WRC Welcome Desk by check.
