We've Got Something For Everyone!

Any student, staff, faculty, retiree, or spouse can join the WRS fitness, leisure or certification classes without paying a facility user fee. There are many options available to you.     Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:30 pm
  • Payment - Must accompany registration. Check, U-bill charge (student) or payroll deduction (UNI employee). No Refunds After Thursday May 22.
  • Late Registration - No registration taken at class. Late registrations must be made at the WRS Office, WRC 101. Monday - Friday, 7:30am—5:00pm.
  • Waivers - WRS fitness class participants are required to read and sign a questionnaire/waiver. This helps us provide you with an appropriate workout and to alert you and our staff to medical precautions needed.
  • Transfers - Participants are only allowed into classes with spaces available. All transfers must be requested in person in WRC room 101.

    Towel Service: Available at the WRC Control Desk.
    Locker Service: Available through School of HPELS, WRC 158, (319) 273-2488.

WRC Shut down - August 4-15

Drop Fee

A $3.00 administrative fee will be charged for each drop slip completed when you do not add another class at that time.
