The Wellness and Recreation Center pools consist of an eight lane 25-yard lap pool, leisure pool and spa. Wellness and Recreation Services offers a variety of programming.

Aquatics programs range from Paddling Panthers swimming lessons, Panther Masters Swim Team, American Red Cross Lifeguarding & Water Safety courses, adult swim lessons, water aerobics and lap & recreation swimming.

Programs are offered throughout the semester.


American Red Cross Certifications

The Wellness and Recreation Services offers American Red Cross Certification Classes to students, faculty, staff and community members. The purpose of these courses is to give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to an emergency situation.

Certification classes include but are not limited to:

Course are taught in the Wellness and Recreation Center throughout the semester.

Adult Swim Lessons

Small personalized class for persons of all abilities who want to learn basic swimming skills or who wish to perfect their strokes. This class also offers a good environment for students preparing their swimming skills for a lifeguarding or water safety instructor course. Classes only meet on Mondays and Wednesdays.
