Often, we first come face-to-face with our health status when we have a major health concern. Blood chemistry profiles, personal health assessments and lifestyle questionnaires provide important information so that health can be managed before medical incidents occur. Knowing and understanding your health status is the first step to taking control of your health and well-being. We are pleased to offer the following enhanced wellness services to UNI employees eligible for UNI health insurance benefits:
- Free Blood Chemistry Profile once per academic year ($20 cost previously), provided on campus by Allen Hospital. Call 273-6119 to schedule your appointment.
- Free confidential online Personal Health Assessment and Lifestyle Questionnaire which provides you personalized reports of current health status, helps to identify health risks, and offers recommendations for prevention and maintenance of disease.
- Free two week supply of nicotine replacement patches or gum for employees participating in the UNI smoking cessation program. Contact Kathy Green for details.
