The UNI Web Development Conference is a biennial conference for UNI web developers. It's offered as an opportunity to provide professional training and to make new connections and discover resources available in the UNI web development community. Open to UNI students, faculty and staff, the conference has been expanded this year to two days, including a new day-long session with Christine Perfetti of User Interface Engineering. Her presentation, Web Sites That Work, will provide practical, research-based instruction on how to make your web site more usable. The second day will focus on web development issues at UNI.

The conference is for users with a basic knowledge of html and some experience developing a web site. It's targeted at developers who are looking for informative sessions to expand their technical knowledge and skills. We're not talking theory here, our goal is to provide sessions with practical information that attendees can take with them and implement on their web sites. The sessions are designed for anyone who designs, plans, or maintains a web site, with an emphasis on improving basic skills.

SPECIAL BONUS:
Participants in the UNI Web Development Conference are invited to attend presentations by CSS expert Eric Meyer at the University of Iowa, June 7. Meyer will deliver a keynote and present a session deconstructing a standard html page and rebuilding it with CSS.
