Default UNI Themes

Effective January 21, 2010, all UNI insitutional websites (colleges, departments and other academic or non-academic units) must use a header template that conforms to the UNI visual standards. All sites must also conform to the university official web colors for use of purple and gold on the site.

All of the headers are available as Drupal Themes. They will come by default with any new Drupal account. If you need html code for the headers for non-Drupal sites, you can download them or contact the University Relations Webteam.

The variations that are approved for use are show below:

(Not for use in Departmental main site, minor sub-sites only)

Footer:

With these themes comes a default footer. Its use is optional, although the Maintained by link is required on all institutional sites and must be present in some manner. Main departmental sites are also requested to have the Diversity Matters link. The default footer may be used with those items intact and the other items removed.

Variations to the Headers

Variations other than noted below must be approved by the University Web Oversight Committee.

The headers may be used with or without the toolbar menu and with or without the university web site search box.

Any of the headers may incorporate screened back images in the design, as show in the two examples below:
