Below are some of the default settings used by University Relations.

The default Drupal favicon is replaced by a UNI favicon or other appropriate Favison (in root/misc/)

Site Configuration -> Performance: Cache set to Normal

Site Configuration -> IMCE:  Roles are set to User-1 permissions

Site Configuration -> Input Formats:  Filtered HTML is deleted

Content Management -> Content Types: Story is renamed to homepage or news, to make it more clear for the end user what the purpose of the Story content type is for.

Content Management -> Content Types: Revisions on by default for all content types

Site Building -> Blocks: Turn off Navigation  (UM&PR primarily uses the Admin menu)

Turn off Comment permissions on any site not using comments

Add to the style sheet to turn off authoring, to minimize the number of items on the edit page:    .authored {display: none;}
