The University of Northern Iowa seeks an Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management to provide strategic, visionary and overarching leadership to the enrollment functions of the University.
The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, a newly created position, will report in partnership to the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Vice President for Student Affairs. Serving as a member of the President’s Executive Management Team, the Associate Vice President will build and lead a team that will be charged with working across the University to envision and deliver the optimal enrollment program for UNI, meeting its short- and long- term enrollment goals and ensuring its success in recruitment and retention for the future.
The Associate Vice President will lead the offices of admissions, financial aid, the university registrar, and new student programs in an enrollment effort that is vigorous, creative, data informed, and student centered. The incumbent will design and implement a structure that brings increased coordination and cooperation among the units so as to best serve students and help ensure student success among all populations at the University, better envision and manage enrollment goals, and increase efficiencies and synergies across these factions. The Associate Vice President will coordinate the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Steering Committee that includes the Recruitment Council, the Retention Council and the Data Council.
The incumbent must have a Bachelor's degree; at least five years of experience in leading a successful enrollment management program; experience supervising admissions, financial aid, and/or registrar functions; demonstrated leadership in new student programming; and a commitment to inclusive and sustainable efforts. A Master’s or terminal degree is preferred.
