Highlights 2012

I am a bit of a concert junkie and love to combine concerts and traveling. 2012 was a relatively light year as far as concerts were concerned, because my favorite performer was not on a full-fledged tour. Nevertheless I managed to take in 6 Keith Urban performances in 5 different cities, as well as concerts by Paul Simon, Reba McIntire, Trace Adkins, Don Williams, Lady Antebellum, Ingrid Michaelson, and Judy Collins. During the summer I saw days of performances at Country USA in Oshkosh, WI and CountryFest in Cadott, WI	!
	This summer we traveled to Russia with our best friends and took a cruise down the "Waterways of the Czars" from St. Petersburg (Leningrad) to Moscow - a fun and fascinating voyage including Russian music, vodka-tasting, Kremlin visits, Russian ballet, and new foods and cultural traditions.
	The Sixth Annual 3 day Iowa Irish Fest (one of my hubby's favorite projects) took place in downtown Waterloo August 3-5. Lots of the extended Walsh family (and thousands of others) made it to town for the celebration. Mark next year's Iowa Irish Fest in your calendars (first weekend in August) for a great party! Some of the Gaelic Storm band came to the Walsh party site to celebrate after the Saturday night show : )  Here is a link to one of my Gaelic Storm videos from one of the fests.
