Dr.
Waldron grew up in Minnesota playing sports, including basketball,
cross country, track, racquetball, and any other sport or physical
activity she could. Her high school basketball team (
St. John's Prep)
broke a 35 game losing streak her sophomore year. Her team continued to
improve and won first-round district games her junior and senior year.
She went on to play college basketball at the DIII level. Although
three knee surgeries prevent her from engaging in many of the
previously mentioned activities, she still is active via biking,
walking, swimming, and hiking (when travelling). She can also be
found walking the
Meggie-dog, gardening, reading, and watching sports,
especially women's sports.
