Leadership Studies Program

The mission of UNI's LEADERSHIP STUDIES PROGRAM is to provide all students with opportunities for leadership development by offering a comprehensive curricular and co-curricular program that is grounded in the liberal arts, links theory and practice, promotes civic service, advances inclusiveness regarding race and ethnicity and other differences, and emphasizes the responsibilities of individuals and organizations.

The Leadership Studies Program at the University of Northern Iowa offers a variety of opportunities for students with a wide range of abilities and leadership experiences. It's for those who have been leaders, for those who might want to become leaders, and for those who never thought of themselves as leaders.   Involvement in the program will enable you to more consciously direct your leadership potential and be prepared for future opportunities--in your personal, career, and civic roles.
