As the Executive Vice President and Provost, I am the Chief Academic Officer for the University of Northern Iowa. Our office oversees all of the academic programs of UNI as well as all faculty issues, student academic issues, academic advising, the Rod Library, Information Technology Services, and many other units of the university. This is a great university at which to work and study. While our central focus is on students and their learning, many of our faculty are also internationally respected for their research, scholarly or artistic work. What makes us special is that those faculty are adept at and enthusiastic about translating their considerable scholarly and artistic skills into exciting classroom experiences for their students.
