Additional Research and Honors

In addition to these eight major book-length publications, the RC 35 members contributed to several other publications in their individual capacities.  The prolific publication activities (numerous to mention here due to the space constraint but they can be supplied on request) by our Research Committee members are no doubt commendable.

OTHER ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING HONORS, AWARDS, and GRANTS: Various members of the RC 35 have been successful in receiving research grants. Prof. Dwivedi and his team of researchers received a research grant of $145,000 to study 'managing environmental risk in India".  The research results enabled the Government of India to consider a change on its environmental regulation pertaining to phosphate loading in detergents.

Professor Vajpeyi, Chair RC 35, received various research grants, which enabled him to organize and attend regional conference  Dr. Inakshi Chaturvedi has also received research funds to continue her  research.

Further, in order to edit, process, and put together the two books (mentioned above), Profs. Dwivedi and Vajpeyi received funding and institutional support from their respective universities.
