Get your Program the Attention it Deserves

University Relations works with clients across campus to develop creative projects and marketing strategies that advance UNI and its colleges, departments and programs. Initiatives include (but are not limited to):

  1. Publications:  UR's staff of writers/editors/project managers, graphic designers and the photojournalist work with campus offices to produce high-profile publications (printed and electronic).

  2. Marketing Strategy: No matter what we’re producing, i.e. a video, website, photograph, advertisement, brochure, we can help clients start with a plan that is tune with the communications and marketing strategies for UNI. And the end result clients will see is a project or family of projects that ensures the UNI brand, while and creatively promoting an event, program or initiative in its entirety.

  3. Printing Services: UR has partnered with Copyworks on College Hill) to provide quality printing and duplicating for the UNI community at a significantly reduced price. This service is provided to all faculty, staff and students who require printed material as part of their educational or professional activities.  To receive the discount, all printing requests should be submitted to urprinting@uni.edu.
    All letterhead, business cards and envelopes are produced under contract by the University of Iowa Printing and Mailing Services. University Relations and U of I Print Services have combined their efforts to offer the campus an attractive two-color letterhead, business card and envelope package at competitive prices.   4. Photography & Video Services: Events or publications that need professional photography services from University Relations should promote the institution as a whole. Photography services are free of charge.  Our photography services include professional headshots, environmental profiles and coverage of significant university events.

  5. UNI Style Guide / Brand Identity: UR maintains the university’s official branding standards. A downloadable version of the university’s style and identity guide is available at http://uni.edu/ur/style-guide/index.html. Consultation of and assistance with design layout and identity guidelines are available upon request.

  6. Exhibit Support: Tradeshow and tabletop display units and table drapes can be purchased and custom designed through UR.
