UF Constitution and Bylaws (pdf)

Link above accesses the most recent UF Constitution and Bylaws with the latest changes as of October 3, 2008. Under Article X of the Constitution: "The United Faculty may adopt amendments to this Constitution by a majority vote of members voting by secret mail ballot as described in the most recent edition of Roberts Rules of Order, provided that:
(1) the proposed amendments have been introduced at a regular meeting of the Central Committee, and referred to the Membership by a vote of the Central Committee.

Under the Bylaws: "Bylaws may be amended by a majority vote at any regular meeting of the Central Committee provided that proposed amendments have been previously studied by the Executive Board and that copies have been sent to Committee members at least one (1) Week in advance of the meeting." Consequently, the Constitution and Bylaws may be revised and updated periodically and there may be a lag between when the most recent set of documents are posted to this website. However, the current set of documents may be obtained through the UF office at anytime.
