UNI Online is a compilation of notices to be distributed to faculty and staff. The deadline for submission is noon, the day before publication. UNI Online is distributed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Submitted items must be sponsored by a UNI department, program or organization. No commercial or personal announcements are allowed. The campus community is invited to attend open forums to meet the candidates applying for the assistant vice president for student affairs/executive director of residence position. The candidate forums are scheduled as follows: Shay Davis Little, director of administrative services and communications, The University of Georgia, May 31; William B. Smith, associate vice chancellor for student affairs, Ivy Tech Community College; June 4; Margaret J. Empie, director of dining services, Wartburg College, June 7; and Dan Bertsos, director of residence services, Wright State University, June 11. All forums are at 3 p.m., in Maucker Union. The candidate’s vitae and campus interview schedule will be posted the week of the scheduled interview.
Gilchrist Hall has been designated as a polling location for the June 5 primary election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Certain parking meters on the west side of Gilchrist Hall will be designated for voters only. Questions may be directed to Milissa Wright at 273-2712.
UNI will offer used dormitory dressers for sale from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, May 31, in Bartlett Hall. All dressers will be priced at $20 each. There will be no preview or pre-sales. Payment must be made in cash on site before removal and all items must be removed by 1 p.m. Parking will be available in the parking ramp on West 23rd St. Call Jon at 273-6246 with questions.

The Center for Disability Studies in Literacy, Language & Learning at UNI has launched its website, which contains an overview video and other resources related to literacy, communication and disability studies.

Adobe Connect is webinar/Web conferencing software available to faculty to use for teaching. A workshop on how to use the software to support teaching and learning, in addition to more traditional uses for webinars and meetings, will be offered at 10 a.m., June 5, in 136 ITTC. All non-temporary employees eligible for life insurance at UNI have until May 31 to make changes to, or enroll in, voluntary term life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage for themselves and/or their family members.
