UNI Online is a compilation of notices to be distributed to faculty and staff. The deadline for submission is noon, the day before publication. UNI Online is distributed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Submitted items must be sponsored by a UNI department, program or organization. No commercial or personal announcements are allowed. Announcements must have news, not opinion content. News items may be submitted via the UNI Online Submission Form.

NEWS

W2 ELECTRONIC DELIVERYNEW

Sign up now for electronic-only delivery of your W2. In lieu of a mailed copy, you must give permission electronically by Jan. 9. You will also be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card. With electronic delivery you can view your W2 online, with the option to print, at least a week earlier than receiving it through the U.S. Mail. It’s also a cost savings to UNI. The electronic W2 will be available through UNI Employee Self Service by mid-January. An email notification of its availability will be sent to you. If you've previously signed up for the electronic W2 you do not need to do so again. For additional information, visit this site or contact payroll at payroll@uni.edu or call 273-6425 or 273-2656.

FACULTY AND STAFF WITH LOBBYING CONTACTSNEW

Lobbying activity from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, must be reported by Thursday, Dec. 22. In compliance with the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 and the Honest and Open Government Act of 2007, UNI files quarterly reports on specific lobbying issues and the expenses incurred in lobbying. The university's lobbying policy can be found in the Policies and Procedures Manual at 10.09. Reports must be filed each quarter. YOU 'N I: THE DIVERSITY SHUFFLENEW

UNI faculty and staff are invited to "You 'n I: The Diversity Shuffle," from 1:30 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17. This 90-minute program is a non-threatening way to explore individual and cultural differences in a one-on-one format. Participants will spend five structured minutes with 10 new colleagues. Limited to 60 participants.
