UNI Online is distributed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Submitted items must be sponsored by a UNI department, program or organization. No commercial or personal announcements are allowed. This is a final reminder to procurement cardholders and their supervisors that cards issued before Aug. 1, 2012 will no longer be active after Oct. 25. Cardholders who haven't completed the online training course through UNI eLearning or picked up a new card, must do so by Oct. 25, or risk not being able to make procurement card purchases. Merit employees can enroll and/or make changes to their health insurance coverage, now through Nov. 16. Please review the reduced premiums for the 2013 plan year. All eligible employees can enroll in the Flexible Spending Account for the 2013 plan year. Elections don't carry over from year to year. You must re-enroll each year. All eligible employees can enroll in or drop vision insurance coverage for the 2013 plan year. Several SIS applications will get a software upgrade from 2 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20. The following SIS applications will be unavailable: MyUniverse Portal, the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions which includes the online search for classes and the online application for admission, and the PeopleSoft CRM application. "Welcoming Diversity and Building Community," an interactive workshop for faculty and staff, will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, in 116 SRL. This workshop is the first step to becoming certified as a trainer using the National Coalition Building Institute model.
