Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will speak at a campaign event at 2:45 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at the West Gym. Doors open at 12:45 p.m. A ticket is required. Tickets are available today, Nov. 1, outside Maucker Union and Friday, at the West Gym. This event is sponsored by the UNI College Republicans and isn't sponsored or endorsed by UNI.
Registration is now open for the 2013 UNI Symposium on Research and Creative Activity to be held Feb. 8, in Maucker Union. All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. Submissions are also being accepted for posters, displays and creative presentations at the symposium. UNI's Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) and HPELS will host a webinar "Hazing: Leading and Responding with Solutions," from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7.
