FINANCIAL AID ANNUAL REPORTNEW

The Office of Student Financial Aid has posted “A Year in Review Annual Report.”  This document is a quick and handy resource providing historical data and facts, financial aid news and current information. If you would like a hard copy, contact Financial Aid at 273-2701.

SUSTAINABILITY AT UNI - DID YOU KNOW?NEW

More than 90 percent of the computers purchased at UNI meet the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment gold rating, meaning that they are more energy efficient and produced in a more environmentally responsible way.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT DEADLINE

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) participants have until March 31 to submit claims to ASI Flex for eligible expenses incurred in calendar year 2011. If you have money remaining in your 2011 health care FSA account, you have until March 15 to incur expenses. To obtain a reimbursement request form, visit Human Resources.

GOVENOR'S TRAFFIC SAFETY INFORMATION

St. Patrick’s Day has become a popular night out to celebrate with friends and family. Unfortunately, due to the large number of drunk drivers, the night out has also become very dangerous. UNI Police and other agencies will participate in an effort, in conjunction with the Governors Traffic Safety Bureau, to provide safe roadways during this time. Please wear your seatbelt day and night; law enforcement will be checking from March 15 through March 18. For more information, contact the Department of Public Safety Police Division at 273-2712.

PANOPTO WORKSHOP FOR FACULTY

ITS will offer two workshops that will demonstrate the new features of the Panopto 4.1 upgrade. If you're currently using Panopto and would like to learn more about the new features, or if you'd like to learn more about classroom capture technologies, sign up for a session online. The workshops are from noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 20 or Thursday, April 5.

Human Resources is leading the weight loss division with an average weight loss of 3.05 percent; the Physical Plant team is leading the activity minutes division with 198 hours recorded.
