CHANGES TO UNIONLINE AND MYUNIVERSE NEWS

UR will be unveiling a new multimedia communications website for faculty, staff and students as early as spring 2013. This site will include internal announcements and news for faculty, staff and students. Effective immediately, UR will no longer publish My UNIWeekend. Announcements in MyUNIverse News and UNI Online will be condensed considerably for greater readership, relevance and timeliness. To see the full changes, visit this site.

PARKING PERMIT SALES/PARKING OPERATIONS

Parking permits will be sold exclusively in 009 GIL Thursday, Aug. 16 through Monday, Aug. 20. The hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gilchrist 30 will not be staffed by parking personnel during this time. Any questions regarding parking will need to be addressed in person at 009 GIL. Phone calls won't be accepted. Requests for visitor permits can be submitted online. They will be processed as time permits beginning Aug. 21. Payments for parking violations won't be accepted during this time period. All normal parking operations will resume in 30 GIL on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
