
With the implementation of Phase II MEMFIS, and with ITS working towards a single Username, the MEMFIS system will be moving the UNI Username as well. Effective Dec. 1, all existing MEMFIS Usernames will be set to your UNI Username. This is the same as your current e-mail Username. Users who have existing accounts on MEMFIS will get an e-mail the morning of December 1 indicating what their old id was and what their new id is. In addition as of Dec. 1, MyUNIverse will display a MEMFIS section for all faculty, staff and student employees, which will include your Username.
Please review the following so you know what your MEMFIS password is:
If you have never been a MEMFIS user, and are an employee (faculty, staff, or student) you will get an account on the MEMFIS system effective Dec. 1. The MEMFIS channel will appear on MyUNIverse on that date. You will be able to log in Dec. 1 (Go to MyUNIverse for your account details).
If you are an existing MEMFIS user and have used the MEMFIS system since Aug. 1, your MEMFIS password WILL NOT BE reset. To use the MEMFIS system just use your new Username, and existing password.
If you are an existing MEMFIS user and have not used the MEMFIS system since Aug. 1, your MEMFIS password WILL BE reset and will be displayed in the MEMFIS channel on MyUNIverse as well. Upon your first use of the MEMFIS system, you will be required to reset your password, and it will no longer display on MyUNIverse.
While all employees can log in to MEMFIS as of Dec. 1, the ability to use MEMFIS Phase II functionality (e.g. record time, and use self service HR/Payroll features), will not occur until midnight, Dec. 12.
