University Committees in need of student members include:

The University Judicial Committee holds hearings when serious disciplinary action for student behavior occurs that could result in expulsion or suspension. Female and minority students are especially sought.

The Parking Appeals Committee provides a service for students wishing to dispute an incurred parking penalty.

The Wellness and Recreation Services Committee oversees issues relating to the WRS facility and health and fitness-related campus issues.

The Entertainment Committee discusses the use of entertainment venues and potential entertainment sources on campus.

The Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center Advisory Board discusses use of the GBPAC as well as potential acts and attractions for upcoming seasons.

The Student Activity Fee Committee explores the rationale behind the administration of activity fees, as well as the amount charged, for UNI students.
