
The third annual Collegiate Entrepreneurs Iowa Conference will be held at UNI in Maucker Union this year on Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. with registration at 8:30 a.m. This statewide conference brings together college students and faculty/staff from all over Iowa for a day of networking, education, and inspirational speakers. If you have an interest in entrepreneurship or small business, this conference is for you.
The conference is only open to Iowa college students and faculty/staff. It is not open to the general public. The conference is free to all Iowa college attendees, as all costs are being covered by the conference sponsors -- CEO and Collegiate VIP.
This year's conference is proud to have a spectacular group of speakers including: Bill Krause, CEO of Krause Gentle Corporation, the parent company of Kum & Go stores; Dan Leese, Chief Operating Officer of Beringer Blass Winery in Napa Valley; Jerome Conway, owner of 70 Sonic franchises in Texas; Dan Schmitt, CEO of Anthony, Allen & Quinn; speakers from Collegiate VIP - an exciting and innovative program for providing internships on campus; a speaker from CEO's national office to talk about the organization; many entrepreneurs in their 20s who have started and are running successful small businesses; and an informational speaker on how to start your own small business.
All non-breakout presentations will be live webcast on the UNI Web
site for those not able to attend. The presentations will be archived on UNI servers after the event and will be available for viewing.
