New services on MyUNIverse for the On Line Job Board
Starting this summer, the UNI Financial Aid/Student Employment Office is introducing two new tools that will help match students with potential employers.
A student searches the job board and does not find a position that fits their skills. They will then post a student profile and pick a job category. Any employer that posts a job in that category will trigger an e-mail be sent to that student. The e-mail will tell them that a job in their area of interest has been posted to the On Line Job Board, as well as the title of the job and a link that will take them to the Job Board log in screen.
Potential campus employers have the ability to use this service as well. Employers go to the job board and post a job opening. Then, any student who posts a profile in that category will trigger an e-mail to be sent to the employer with the student's name, category of interest and the title of their student profile. The e-mail will also have a link to the Job Board log in screen. From there you will find the student profile and their contact information.
This news service will help match students who are looking for work with employers who are looking for a quality student employee. If you have any questions about these new services, please feel free to call 3-6394 or 3-2722.
