The Red Cross will host a blood drive, sponsored by Sigma Alpha Epsilon, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the Ballrooms, MAU. Sign up for an appointment Nov. 26 and 27 in Maucker Union. Walk-ins are welcome.
The Department of Residence (DOR) is seeking resident assistants (RAs) for the 2013-2014 academic year. RAs receive compensated room and board and a $1,200 stipend. UNI students are invited to tour residence halls, Panther Village and ROTH from 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30. Tours begin in the lobby of each building. See student spaces, hall features and talk to students about their home on campus. This is a preview for February 2013, when students make their plans for next fall.
Throughout December UNI will promote "These are my favorite things" on the UNI home page. Faculty, staff and students are asked to reflect on their favorite UNI events, memories or things of 2012 and send their 25-word or less comment to Lindsay Cunningham. email@example.com Your name and major/department will be included.
Used greeting cards can be recycled by donating them to St. Jude Children's Hospital. The RRTTC will collect greeting cards of any kind - birthday, holiday, sympathy, etc. to donate to St. Jude. The recycled cards raise money for services provided to children and families at the hospital. Drop boxes are at the following locations: Maucker Union, Wellness and Recreation Center, the CEEE, SEC Lobby, Gilchrist Hall, Rod Library, Piazza and Rialto Dining Centers.
