MyUNIverse News is the official UNI news source for students. It is distributed each Monday during the academic year by the Office of University Relations. Library hours for Dec. 5 through 11 are extended hours. http://www.library.uni.edu/about-us/hours-maps/exam-holiday-interim-hours#fallfinals. Patrons may check out materials and enter the building until 10 minutes to closing time, when service desks close and the doors are locked. Library online resources are available 24/7; if off campus, there will be a prompt to enter your CatID.
Information Technology Services is running a short survey to gather student feedback on the Student Computer Centers as well as other technologies provided on campus. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey. Your responses will help ITS better serve UNI students. Log in to MyUNIverse and find the survey under the Current Announcements section.

This fall, UNI announced a new electronic communication website was being created for faculty, staff and students to allow for greater flexibility and depth of UNI announcements and news. UNI will hold an auction on Monday, Dec. 3, at Malcolm Price Lab School. Sale items include surplus dining equipment from the Department of Residence and remaining items at MPLS. The doors will open at 8 a.m. and auction for dining items will start at 9 a.m.; PLS auction items will follow the sale of dining items. The UNI-CUE Tutoring Center is seeking students to volunteer as tutors during the 2013 spring semester. Students in any field of study are eligible. Each tutor will work one-on-one with a student for 90 minutes per week during the semester. The UNI Study Abroad Center hosts weekly sessions that include Abroad 101, Pick-A-Program Semester and Summer and Scholarships. Earn Capstone credit and study in Greece in June. Informational meetings will take place from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, and Thursday, Dec. 6, in 212 SRL.
