University Relations recently announced that items in MyUNIverse News and UNI Online won't be posted more than twice. New items will be tagged with a Panther paw. Additional changes include a new calendar category replacing lectures, conferences, athletics and performing arts. All calendar-related entries, with the exception of major campus events, will be promoted through UNI's online Calendar of Events, meaning events must be submitted to the university calendar. The News section of the newsletters will remain with a listing of major announcements. Announcements in other categories will include a headline and hotlink for more information. My UNI Weekend will publish Wednesdays instead of Thursdays. Whenever possible, URLs are encouraged to direct the reader to more information. These changes are being made to enhance readability and the value of these online communications.
