My UNI Weekend is a digest of weekend (Thursday - Sunday) entertainment and recreation opportunities at UNI, mailed on Thursday mornings during fall and spring semesters. Submission deadline is noon, Wednesday. Submissions will be rejected if sponsorship by a university department, program or organization is not clear.

UNI School of Music staff and faculty artist Sandy Nordahl will present a recital of digital music and art at 7:30 p.m., Bengtson Auditorium, RSL. This event is free and open to the public.
UNI's Earth Science Department will host a special viewing of a supernova from 8 to 10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, on the grassy area west of the campanile. Telescopes will be set up to view the supernova and other objects in the night sky. If the skies are cloudy, the event will be canceled.

Are you looking for tutoring or help in some of your courses? Visit the A-Team on Sunday nights from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Rod Library. The A-Team provides help for students in math, science and business courses, as well as assistance with college reading, study strategies and writing. The tutoring is on the first floor of the Library, across from the Multiservice Center reservation desk. The A-Team is sponsored by the Academic Learning Center.
