My UNI Weekend is a digest of weekend (Thursday - Sunday) entertainment and recreation opportunities at UNI, mailed on Thursday mornings during fall and spring semesters. Submission deadline is noon, Wednesday. Submissions will be rejected if sponsorship by a university department, program or organization is not clear.

FREE INTERACTIVE WEBINAR: 'AN ENTREPRENEUR'S PERSPECTIVE: CABIN COFFEE'

Get Brad and Angie Barber's take on how to succeed in this economic environment as they offer advice on turning your business into a franchise during their webinar at noon. PERSONALITY AND LEADERSHIP STYLES

Drake Martin will help participants analyze their leadership styles by identifying their style on the Myers-Briggs Inventory from 3:30 to 4:50 p.m., in SEC 323. Participants may purchase an inventory at University Book & Supply (bring results to session) or complete a short version at the workshop.

UNI ENTREPRENEURS MEETING

LOVE YOUR BODY

UNI SINGERS AND WOMEN'S CHORUS

CHOPIN BONANZA #2 - FEATURING UNI PIANO STUDENTS

Chopin Bonanza #2, will be held at 8 p.m., in Davis Hall, GBPAC. In a continuing celebration of the 200th anniversary of Chopin's birth,  Dmitri Vorobiev will coordinate this recital featuring student musicians from the piano studios at UNI. Free and open to the public.

RAFFLE FOR A FOOTBALL SIGNED BY THE UNI TEAM

Muchas Manos Light Work will celebrate Homecoming by selling raffle tickets for a football signed by the UNI football team. Tickets are $1 for one or $6 for five. Purchase tickets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at a table in Maucker Union and during tailgating before Saturday's game. The winner will be chosen Saturday, Oct. 23. All proceeds go toward a scholarship to bring a Nicaraguan student to UNI in the spring to learn English.

VOLLEYBALL

Volleyball hosts Drake at 7 p.m., in the McLeod Center.

NORTHERN IOWA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra will offer its fall Spotlight Series concert at 7:30 p.m., in the Great Hall, GBPAC. For tickets, call 3-4TIX.

HOMECOMING 5K RUN/WALK

The Panther Pacers will host its 13th annual Homecoming 5K Run/Walk at 8 a.m., at the West Dome parking lot. The fee is $20 for everyone. HOMECOMING PANCAKE AND CINNAMON ROLL BREAKFAST

St. Stephen will host its annual UNI Homecoming pancake and cinnamon roll breakfast at 8:30 a.m., in front of St. Stephen. Cost is $6 for the pancake breakfast, $2 for a cinnamon roll with coffee or hot chocolate, or $7 for both. St. Stephen Catholic Student Center is located at 1019 W. 23rd St., next door to UNI Book & Supply. For more information, call 266-9863.

SWIMMING

Swimming holds its alumni meet at 10 a.m., in the Glen F. Henry Pool.

SAFE DATE TAILGATE

Women's and Gender Studies will host its fifth annual Safe Date Tailgate from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the southwest corner of the north WRC parking lot. The Safe Date Tailgate is designed to highlight October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and provide resources to students about healthy relationships. Stop by for free barbecue sandwiches, drinks, and fun raffles and giveaways.

FOOTBALL

Football hosts Illinois State in a Homecoming matchup at 4:05 p.m., in the UNI-Dome.

VOLLEYBALL

The Panthers host Creighton at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23., in the McLeod Center. Fans who have a ticket to Saturday's football game can attend Saturday's match free.
