OLD STUDENT ID CARDS:
OLD Student ID cards will no longer be accepted at Rod Library after Sept. 24. To pick up your new card, visit the Dept. of Residence in Redeker Center.

PHISING: HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THEFT:
In a phishing attack, the thieves pretend to be sending you to a reputable site like Citibank and ask for your private data, so they can steal your money or your identity. Recent research reports that one in twenty people are fooled by these types of attacks, which is why the thieves keep at it. USER QUARANTINE MANAGEMENT SUGGESTION:
The "User Quarantine Release Notification" in your e-mail in-box contain groups of potential SPAM e-mails. Click on the quarantine notification. If you don't see any messages you need, simply delete the notification. If you find messages you need, follow the URL instructions to retrieve them. ESSENTIALS GRAND OPENING:
Essentials, the new retail store in the Union, will host grand opening events from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept.14 and 15. Featured will be drawings for prizes, special coupons, free ice cream from Wells Blue Bunny (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and samples of "Pitch Black" Mountain Dew (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Prizes include gift baskets prepared by Essentials, tickets to UNI football and men's basketball games, tickets to a performance at the GBPAC, and gifts from the WRC. Bags of popcorn will sell for 50 cents from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

CAPOEIRA CLUB:

The got ignorance? campaign is an effort to raise awareness about and address acts of discrimination, violence, and injustice motivated by hatred, intolerance, and ignorance that occur on college campuses nationwide. The rally takes place Tuesday, Sept. 14 from 11-a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hemisphere Lounge of Maucker Union. This rally will include testimonals, skits and an exchange of information.
