ROD LIBRARY STUDENT COMPUTER
FEE SURVEY: Rod Library is offering its annual
survey on which types of projects should be supported with student computer
fee money. The survey will run Nov. 8-16. The survey will be available
online at
http://www.uni.edu/library/scfsurvey.shtml and in paper form in
the library and at Maucker Union.

CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND AT UNI:
Football hosts third-ranked Southern Illinois,
with the winner claiming the Gateway Championship and an automatic bid
into the NCAA I-AA Playoffs, which begin Nov. 29. Enjoy $1 hot dogs
at the football game, and UNI students can get one extra free ticket
to the football game by presenting their student ID by Friday Nov. 14.
Seats are limited; a sellout is anticipated.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE:
St. Stephen Catholic Student Center is putting
on its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Stop by the Center and pick up
a menu, buy the items, and return them to St. Stephen's Nov. 22-23.
This is a great project for group organizations. Each menu costs less

new ATM is now available for use at the main entrance of Maucker Union.

OFFICES RELOCATING TO MAUCKER
UNION: On Monday, Nov. 17, the Student Activities
Office and the Northern Iowa Student Government will move into offices
in the new upper level of Maucker Union. The Center for Multicultural
Education and the International Services office will move into new offices
on Wednesday, Nov. 19, also located in the new upper level of Maucker
Union.

NISG is seeking students to serve on University
Committees. There are two openings for the Campus Childcare Advisory
Committee, which meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 23rd Street
Market; one opening on the Educational Policies Commission, which usually
meets every other Friday at 2; and three openings for the Parking Appeals
Committee, which meets every Monday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the College

multimedia performer and educator Nancy Hulse will present “A Rose

CME SPEAKER: UNI's
Center for Multicultural Education (CME) will host a visit by Jennifer
Holladay, associate producer of "Teaching Tolerance," the anti-bias
education project of the Southern Poverty Law Center. Holladay will
deliver a public address, discussing her anti-bias work, white privilege,
and becoming an antiracism advocate, at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11,
in Lang Hall Auditorium. On Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon,
and again from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., she will conduct workshops for administrators,
staff, student workers and student leaders in UNI's Division of Educational

The UNI-Student Reading Association is hosting its fall Scholastic
Book Fair on Monday-Thursday, Nov. 10-13, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in the SEC

p.m. on Tuesday night with craft related literacy events for children.

in the Wilderness and recently spent three weeks in Iraq. He will

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE:
On Nov. 18, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., the Red Cross and Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Fraternity will be holding the second SAE sponsored blood drive of

to donate again, and more staff has been added so the drive will move
