RECHARGE CENTER POLICY:
A university policy covering the operation and rate setting for recharge centers has been established. Recharge centers are units established to provide goods and services to university users. They must be operated on a break-even basis. Billing rates are to be based on rate proposals prepared in accordance with the costing standards noted in OMB Circular A-21. Training dates for recharge center personnel will be announced in September. NEW ADMINISTRATIVE OVERHEAD FEE:
As of July 1, UNI will expand the application of the 2.5 percent administrative overhead fee to include self-supported accounts in the "Other Funds Unrestricted" and "Auxiliary Enterprises" blocks of accounts. The administrative overhead fee will allow the university to recover part of the cost of providing institution-wide support services. CAMPUS STREET RECONSTRUCTION - NORTH OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE:
A portion of Campus Street north of University Avenue has closed for reconstruction. Access to Dakota Street from University Avenue will remain open. Use Ohio Street to access the GBPAC visitor and Gilchrist A parking lots. Weather permitting, the street will re-open to traffic by Friday, Aug. 13.
