POWER OUTAGE IN CBB:
There will be a planned power outage in the Curris Business Building between 7 a.m. and noon, Saturday, Aug. 2, for phase one improvements to the Curris Data Center infrastructure. This outage will affect the entire Curris Business Building and all of the services housed in the Curris Data Center, including e-mail, MEMFIS, WebCT, MyUniverse, SIS applications. Other applications not specifically mentioned may be affected as well. Campus access to the Internet will be maintained during this outage.
CAMPBELL B LOT CLOSED:
The Campbell B parking lot is closed due to utility construction until Monday, Aug. 4. The Campbell CP parking lot will remain open during this construction period.
NSF GRANTS CONFERENCE INFORMATION:

This conference will cover the state of current funding; policies and procedures; and pertinent administrative issues. HOST FAMILIES NEEDED:
Families are needed to host three female students from New Zealand while they study at UNI for part of the fall semester. Their area of study is communication disorders in children. Two students will be here from Sept. 1 to Nov. 7, and one from Oct. 20 through Dec. 19. All three students are mature, responsible, and keen to learn more about Iowa and its people.
