UNI BUDGET UPDATE:

The final budget deal put in place by the Iowa General Assembly falls well short of the $40 million budget request put forward by the Board of Regents. Although there was an increase approved for the Regents universities (the second consecutive year of an increase following five years of budget reductions), the amount approved does not go far enough to cover even mandatory cost increases at UNI and the other Regents universities.
