KOOB ENDOWMENT FUND ANNOUNCED:
To perpetuate President Koob's vision for community-university partnerships, the UNI Foundation has created the Robert D. Koob Fund for Student Community Engagement. It will support internships for students working to improve the community and UNI. The R.J. McElroy Trust has issued a challenge grant in support of the fund. DEPARTMENT LOCATION CHANGE:
The Geography Department will move to the EST (formerly East Gym) on Monday, March 13. The phone numbers will stay the same.
CAMPUS SUPPLY STORE:
The Campus Supply Store, which sells furniture, computers, equipment and other items no longer used on campus, opened in the west side of Warehouse I on Dec. 1. Located at 2412 W. 27th St. in Cedar Falls, the Campus Supply Store is open to the UNI students, faculty and staff and the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Items available vary from week to week. All sale proceeds go to UNI's general fund. Also in December, the Campus Supply Warehouse moved to the east half of Warehouse I.

ANNUAL JURIED STUDENT ART EXHIBITION:
The UNI Gallery of Art will present its Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition in the KAB March 20 to April 17. The competition showcases outstanding recent works by undergraduate and graduate students in the UNI Department of Art. The juror is Matthew Kluber, assistant professor of art at Grinnell College. The awards ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, in KAB Room 111. An opening reception will follow. Free and open to the public.
DONATE TO LOCKS OF LOVE:
The Alpha Upsilon chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, a women's professional music service fraternity, and Jiva Salon & Spa will host its second annual Locks of Love event on Sunday, April 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 223 Main St., Cedar Falls. To donate, a ponytail/braid must be at least 10 inches long; hair should be clean and dry. Permed/color-treated hair is accepted. Monetary donations are also accepted. The Friends of KUNI/KHKE present an "Evening in Celebration of Wine & Tulips" to benefit public radio in northeastern Iowa.
