INFORMATION FOR ALL UNI PROCUREMENT CARDHOLDERS AND ACCOUNT MANAGERS:
Beginning with July 2005, expenditures on the UNI procurement card will require documentation of significant savings on any office supplies NOT purchased from Campus Supply (Vendor of First Contact per UNI Cabinet). The card payment form must include the supplier receipt along with documentation of significant savings or a reasonable justification for not using Campus Supply. An example would be a quote obtained from Mary Burke, Campus Supply, comparing the unit cost of specific items. The Procurement Card Application and Agreement form specifically states office supplies are not an allowable expense on the procurement card unless significant savings is realized. Requests for reimbursement of office supply purchases are not recommended, and if made, will also require documentation and/or justification, considering time away from office and liability of travel.
