The Board of Regents, State of Iowa, and the three state universities face major challenges regarding budget appropriations. The Regents requested $40 million and it is likely that they will only receive $22 million. This underfunding will limit UNI resources and force the Regents to consider a three percent supplemental tuition increase for Spring 2006. For more information visit http://www.uni.edu/govrel/legisupdate.html.
