NEW DIRECTIONAL SIGNS ON CAMPUS:
Six new directional signs have been installed on campus to help visitors
and new students find their way. These signs are part of a larger
program to make the campus more user-friendly. Additional directional
signs are expected to be installed in the future.

GIFT FOR THAT PANTHER FAN:
The UNI Athletic Club is taking orders for 48" x 67" oversized-throw
blankets. Cost is $60. The blankets are scheduled to arrive Dec. 17.

ROD LIBRARY RESERVE REINSTATEMENTS DUE:
Professors who have items on reserve and would like
the same items on reserve for spring 2005 should fill out a
reserve request form, attach an item list and return both to the
Rod Library reserve desk (mail code 3675). Printable and electronic
submission forms are available at

All employees are encouraged to attend training on preventing

3 p.m. - Session for department heads and administrators

STUDENT SURVEY ON ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIOS AVAILABLE THROUGH DEC. 22:
Check MyUNIverse announcements for a survey on electronic portfolios.
The survey is being conducted by ITS-Educational Technology to determine
students’ awareness and perceived value of electronic portfolios. The
survey will only take a few minutes but will impact decisions concerning
a potentially significant service to students.

INTRAMURAL BOWLING:
The Intramural League Bowling managers' meeting will be Wed., Jan.
12, at 4 p.m. in WRC 252. Registration is Thursday, Jan. 13 and Friday,
Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in WRC 101. Bowling will take place
at Valley Park Lanes in Cedar Falls on Wednesday, Jan. 26 or Friday,
Jan. 28.
