CELEBRATION:
All faculty, staff and their families are invited to the Ninth Annual
UNI Saturday Celebration Saturday, Sept. 11, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30
p.m.
on the south lawn of the president's home. Food, drinks and table
service
are provided. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket. Free open recreation
will
be available for UNI families in the WRC until 4 p.m. Check-in at
main
desk; clean shoes required and children must be accompanied by an
adult.

HUDSON ROAD PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS
CLOSED:
The Hudson Road pedestrian overpass is closed until further notice.
The walking surface of the overpass is potentially hazardous. Facilites
Planning is working with the project engineer and contractor to correct
the situation.

ANNUAL LELAND WILSON CHEMISTRY DINNER AND LECTURE:
The 8th Annual Leland Wilson Lecture and/or dinner is Tuesday,
Sept. 21. The speaker will be Nancy Wilson Ashbach MD, daughter
of Leland Wilson, UNI's first Chemistry Dept. head. She will speak
on
"Insuring/Ensuring America's Health". The banquet is at
6 p.m. (social

Theatre UNI will host the Director/Designers Presentation: Ubu Roi,

Director Scott Nice and the production designers will discuss their
plans to bring this classic spoof of Shakespeare's Macbeth to life
