NEW UNI
ID/USAGE AT WRC:
Those who register for WRS facility usage and obtain new
UNI IDs, contact Phyllis.Boeke@uni.edu or 3-7166 with the new ID
number. The new number needs to be loaded into the WRS system to match
the number on the ID. This prevents problems when scanning IDs at
the
Welcome Desk. Faculty/staff may obtain new university IDs at the DOR
or the Student Services Center in Gilchrist, anytime before the end
of
this semester. New photos are required.

ANTI-VIRUS/ANTI-SPAM
PROTECTION FOR UNI E-MAIL ACCOUNTS:
Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 24, UNI Information Technology Services, (ITS),
will implement an anti-virus/anti-spam appliance. Since early summer,
inbound mail identified by the appliance to contain a virus has been
automatically deleted. That service will continue. Beginning Tuesday,
inbound mail identified by the appliance as likely spam will be diverted
to a quarantine area. Over the past several months users have seen
e-mail
messages tagged "[future quarantine]". Now those messages
actually will
be quarantined. In their place you will receive a daily summary(ies)
of
quarantined messages, with the capability to release any message you
wish to receive and a link to a Web page to manage your quarantined
messages. Please see
http://www.uni.edu/its/ns/av-as.html
