This is not from USBank. Do not reply or click on the link. Delete the message. HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICE CHANGE: Human Resource Services office renovation is complete and all HR staff are now on the north side of the hall. There has been a room number change to 106 Gilchrist. All phone numbers remain the same.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE - PARKING LOT MAINTENANCE: The Price Lab South B/C Lot will be closed through Aug. 5 for maintenance and painting.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE - HUDSON ROAD PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS: The Hudson Road pedestrian overpass bridge is closed for repairs. Weather permitting, the work will be completed by Friday, Aug. 13.

WRC AND HB FACILITY USER REGISTRATION 2004-05: Registrations for 2004-05 Wellness/Recreation Center and Health Beat facility user privileges are being accepted at an individual cost of $140. Registration provides access to Wellness/Recreation Center facilities, and Health Beat in Maucker Union. Register online at

WRC AUGUST SHUTDOWN: The Wellness/Recreation Center will be closed Aug. 7-15, and will reopen on Monday, Aug. 16, at 6 a.m. Call the WRS Info Line, 3-2391, for more detailed Aug. facility hours.
MUSEUM CLOSED: The University Museum will be closed to the public from Monday, Aug. 2 to Friday, Aug. 6; and from Monday, Aug. 9 to Friday, Aug. 13. The museum will be open 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during this time. The Marshall Center School will be open its usual hours of Fridays and Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. Normal hours will resume Monday, Aug. 16. To contact the museum, call 3-2188.

WAREHOUSE AUCTION: An auction will take place Thursday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. at the warehouse, 2412 West 27th St. (west of the UNI-Dome). Items for sale include new or near-new parts for an Atlas Copco air compressor, including a 75hp electric motor. Also some miscellaneous used electronic equipment and a large quantity of computers and computer equipment. All items are sold "as is" and must be removed that day. Payment must be made in cash (good check) onsite before removal. A photo ID is required to obtain a bidding number. Call Vince at 3-3527 with questions.

SMALL BUSINESS FINANCIALS & IRS TAX WORKSHOP: Learn to read and understand basic financial statements (i.e., profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flows). Bank reconciliations, bookkeeping systems, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and tax requirements for Iowa's small businesses are also discussed. WEBCT WORKSHOPS FOR FACULTY: ITS-Educational Technology is offering WebCT workshops 1, 2 & 3 on Aug. 16, 17 and 18 from 9 a.m. until noon for faculty members who would like a refresher on using WebCT or for those who have never used WebCT.
