NEW PROCUREMENT CARDS: The university has switched to a new program with the same company that issues the current university pro-cards. All current card-holders must turn in cards and receive a new card under the new program. Everyone will be issued a new account number. Cards may be exchanged on Thursday, July 28, 9 to 11 a.m.; Tuesday, Aug. 3, 9 to 11 a.m.; and Thursday, Aug. 5, 1 to 3 p.m. If these times are inconvenient, call Pam Rousselow at 3-3116 to arrange a time to exchange your card.

EMERGENCY SIREN: The Blackhawk County Emergency Management Agency will conduct a test of the outdoor early warning siren system on Wednesday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. One sound is used: a steady wail lasting three minutes. If severe weather conditions are present, the test will be canceled to avoid confusion in the event there may be a need for an actual warning.

WAREHOUSE AUCTION: An auction will take place Thursday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. at the warehouse at 2412 West 27th St. (west of the UNI-Dome). Items for sale include new or near-new parts for an Atlas Copco air compressor, including a 75hp electric motor. Also some miscellaneous used electronic equipment and a large quantity of computers and computer equipment. All items are sold "as is" and must be removed that day.
