CONVOCATION REGALIA DEADLINE NEXT WEEK: The fifth annual Convocation ceremony will take place Sunday, Aug. 22, at 4 p.m. in the GBPAC. This event honors the beginning of the academic year and sets a tone of dedication to education by students, faculty and staff. The Panther Bash, a picnic and rally for new and returning students, will follow. Academic regalia must be ordered by July 6. BLACKHAWK COUNTY EMERGENCY SIREN: The Blackhawk County Emergency Management Agency will conduct a test of the outdoor early warning siren system on Wednesday, July 7 at 11 a.m. One sound is used for the test which is a steady wail lasting for three minutes. If severe weather conditions are present, the test will be canceled to avoid confusion in the event there may be a need for an actual warning.

MASSAGE: Pamper yourself this summer with a massage from Wellness and Recreation Services. A licensed massage therapist will be in the office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 6, 7, 20, 21, 27 and 28. GUEST HOUSING ON CAMPUS: Guest housing is now available 12 months of the year. For assistance with housing, contact Pat Beck 3-7438. The 23rd Street Market in the Commons is also open weekdays till 4 p.m.

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR U.S. COAST GUARD BAND:
The United States Coast Guard Band commemorates the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition on Tuesday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the GBPAC Great Hall. The band has developed an international reputation as one of the finest professional concert bands in the world. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Limit four tickets per order. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is open to the general public at 7:15 p.m. Admission is subject to availability of seating. for tickets, call 3-SHOW.
