BLACKHAWK COUNTY EMERGENCY SIREN: The Blackhawk County Emergency Management Agency will conduct a test of the outdoor early warning siren system on Wednesday, July 7 at 11 a.m. One sound is used for the test which is a steady wail lasting for three minutes. If severe weather conditions are present, the test will be canceled to avoid confusion in the event there may be a need for an actual warning.
